This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (browser storage and requests to other companies) used by the Daily ML Plays website, why we use them, and how you control them. It applies the same way wherever you are.
What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser storage that stays on your device and is not sent to our server automatically. A page can also ask your browser to load content from another company, which lets that company see your IP address and browser details.
Your choices
Optional analytics is off until you choose Accept optional. Reject optional is just as easy, and the site works the same either way, including sign-in, subscriptions and the bet tracker. Your choice is saved in this browser for 6 months, then we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages or the button below. When you withdraw, Google Analytics stops sending data and we delete the Google Analytics cookies on our domain.
Strictly necessary
These are needed to provide the service you ask for, keep it secure, or remember a choice you made. They are not used for analytics or advertising, so they do not need your consent and cannot be switched off here. Blocking them in your browser may stop sign-in or other features from working.

Analytics (optional)
Only if you choose Accept optional, or switch on Analytics in Cookie settings, we load Google Analytics 4 from Google. Before that, and after you reject or withdraw, the page does not load it or contact Google Analytics at all.

With your consent, Google Analytics receives the pages you view, the page you came from, your device, browser, screen and language, an approximate location derived from your IP address. It may also receive which Sports Home sections, sports and leagues you open, the date and freshness of the content shown, and whether you were viewing as a member. It does not receive your name, email, password, payment details or the bets you record. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google processes this data under its own terms and may process it in the United States.
Other companies your browser may contact
- Supabase: our sign-in and database provider, contacted when you sign in or use member features.
- Stripe: when you start checkout or open billing, you go to Stripe’s own pages, where Stripe uses its own cookies under its privacy policy. Stripe is not loaded on our pages.
- Team logos are loaded from cdn.nba.com and media.api-sports.io, which receive your IP address and browser details. We do not know of any cookies they set.
- Substack: the newsletter page loads Substack’s sign-up form only after you press “Load the Substack form”, below a notice naming Substack. Substack may then set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Loading it is not stored and does not change your analytics choice.
- YouTube: a course lesson video is loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press “Load the video from YouTube”, below a notice naming YouTube. YouTube may then store data on your device under Google’s privacy policy. No lesson video is published today.
Good to know
- Withdrawing consent stops further analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies on our domain. It cannot delete data Google already received; ask us and we will help with a request.
- If your browser blocks storage, we cannot remember your choice, so we ask again on each page load and analytics stays off.
- Your choice applies to this browser only. Clearing your browser data resets it.
